Halloween Stitch...

Loving this look. The make-up really pulls it all together:

Halloween Stitch...

Amanda dressed as Anna Wintour and has it down pat. She even wears that grimace well! Great detailing on the top of the dress, and that coat make her such a diva. Love the sunglasses too.

After Work...

Dean Suzanne Thorin

I really don't understand why people don't wear capes. They offer the perfect amount of coverage in these transitioning-weather days. The high collar, the colour, the toggle closures- this look is pure class.

Great Jacket!

Sally, Grad Student

That Jacket kicks so much ass... The hood is awesome and it combines the well-known college concept of comfort with a distinct edginess. Love! She had a great personality and was really awesome to talk to, though she kept suggesting I was running a porn site... I'm not! I swear!

After Class...

Great colours here. That coat is so great for fall, love the pleats at the waist.

Simple, Casual, Grace...

Head to toe is sleek, sexy and seasoned. The subtlties are what make the outfit complete: notice how the black undershirt matches the leggings, bracelet and flats. Khaki is a great color choice for summer in October. And the multiple knotting effect on the belt of her dress is more refined; an appropriate choice for this look, rather than leaving the fabric to hang.

Quad Spot...

Proof that flattering does not always mean skin-tight! Love that her glasses make a statement and her natural flowing hair is a perfect attribute! Awesome dress! Great smile, too!

Walking to Class...

Funky shades, patterned tights, a timeless dress. Notice the blue accessory bracelets she wears with the embroidered sweater! Subtle matching is always a nice add-on. All around, a perfect fusion of patterns and styles.

Sweet Autumn...

Wrapped in a paisley shawl, Smita was an easy target from across the quad. She wears such rich colors as gold, red, and fall blues, yellows and browns. Such a beautiful visual story.

Sipping Coffee....

Very very innovative way to wear a scarf. Love the volume and how its controlled by that belt. How chic!

P.S. What is it with this campus and KILLER shoes!?

Grabbing Coffee...

The hues on that tartan top are soo vivid, love it. The boots and jacket give the outfit a really cool look.

Great scarf, We're really glad we saw her shortly after that scarf post. Those boots are killer too. We love the muted colours with the splash of hues.

Jammin to Class...

Really well put together, loving the print on that scarf too. Cold weather is finally here! Also, those shoes are hot!

A Modern Man...

We love the clean lines of the look. Simple, yet classic.

Fall Wraps Up...

Since their making, scarves have served two purposes: to keep us toasty and to top off any ensemble.

...And a third for those like me, a scarf may reveal one’s fairytale within; draped over the shoulders, a full scale shimmy harks back to Gilda Gray, the scandalous Cabaret dancer or before Facebook, drastic measures were taken to cover one’s head with a silk Hermes, adding a pair of oversized shades for serious CIA worthy spy work.

With fall finally here, make a statement with a vintage inspired print scarf, stay warm wrapped in a ribbed cashmere, or add a sophisticated touch with a lambskin collar. The options are endless, so deviate from the norm and have fun with your scarf eye-q.

Mixing ethnic with vintage and a carefree attitude, Karin embodies the boho-chic style.

Calm and Casual...

Michelle blends ladylike sophistication with relaxation in her loose fitting shorts and elongated tank. The gray and blue tones are an appropriate color match to this hip n’ earthy outfit

Thorndon Park...

Ms. Maggie
Maggie has such a timeless, classy look. Simplistic, but always edgy. We love how she rocks the high-waist pencil skirt- take a closer look and check out the stipes on both her top and skirt- and it works!

This is Arielle's second stitch appearance. Her style is innovative, eclectic and a very accurate form of self-expression. Just what we like to capture. She cut those jeans a week prior to this impromptu photo shoot. I hope that inspires you to cut something up!

A Leader in Communication on a tour of Newhouse School of Public Communications

Paula Madison, Newhouse alum and executive vice president of diversity for NBC Universal

I was drawn to her sleek, full jacket covering the voluminous sleeves of the blouse beneath. She looks gorgeous, tying the look together with a raised waistline, heeled sandals and a chic, oversized tote. Tonight, Paula will headline October’s Leaders in Communication Speaker Series.
